Flight Photos

When I left from Dulles International Airport the weather was cold and rainy. I was worried that the flight was going to getting delayed or canceled, but luckily we were able to depart early from the airport. Even with the government shutdown in effect getting through TSA took no longer than five to six minutes and they still seemed to be friendly towards travelers. Once I had said “adios” to my family and was through security I went to a Wendy’s that was near the gate for my flight and got some food. About an hour and a half later we were getting close to boarding and this very helpful British Airways desk associate gave me priority boarding for the flight which made the experience all the better.

Due to a flight cancelation from before I was able to get the exit row window seat at no extra cost (normally it cost $95 to reserve) and the seat in between was empty, so I had room to relax and a place to store my things during the flight. I forgot to get pictures of it, but the 4-course meal on the flight was amazing and they offered complimentary drinks throughout the duration of the flight. The pictures that I have posted below are all of my flight experience from Dulles International to London Heathrow Airport which was a total of 7 hours flight time.

Since the flight from London to Madrid was about 1:30 hours. I decided to sleep most of the flight and do not have any pictures of that experience.
